I wonder if yesterday’s Random Ramsdom should have been titled “Which draft selections did LA give up on too early?” instead of “which draft picks…” but all good. Live and learn. Thank you to everyone who commented or clicked on the article! If you missed yesterday’s Random Ramsdom worry not for today is a new day!

Speaking of a new day let’s talk about offseason workouts getting going for a majority of teams this week. For the Los Angeles Rams their week started just yesterday (Monday). Does offseason workouts get you excited? My hope is that players just get through all the activites healthy. I feel like before we know it will be kickoff on a Sunday. Doesn’t get much more exciting than actual gameday but seeing players practicing, the draft and eveything else is all pretty exciting I must admit.

Please comment on whatever you’d like and have a great day! Thanks for checking out Turfshowtimes!

“Monday marked the first day of the offseason workout program, which will gradually ramp up leading into summer break before training camp. Initially, players will mostly go through meetings and lifting sessions, but they’ll be on the field for OTAs in May.

Players began arriving for these voluntary workouts, including Kobie Turner, Ernest Jones, Quentin Lake and Rob Havenstein. Players aren’t required to participate in these workouts but the Rams are not expected to have any holdouts, so attendance should be near-perfect, if not 100%.”

Twenty-five NFL teams kick off voluntary offseason workout program today (nfl.com)

“The Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, New York Giants, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers all start Phase One of the nine-week offseason program.”

LA Rams Mock Draft: Elite WR and dominating D are theme of this draft (ramblinfan)

“The LA Rams hold 11 picks in the 2024 NFL Draft, which is the largest number of picks held by any NFL team entering the draft. But the Rams are not just any team. Years of finding quality players in later rounds have honed the precision of this team to a point where you simply must ask, what will the team do with the 19th overall pick?

When the team has a track record of finding running back Kyren Williams with the 164th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, and he is the third ranked rusher in the NFL despite missing five games in 2023, you know that the scouting department is purring like a high-performance racing engine. The Rams doubled down in the 2023 NFL Draft, selected WR Puka Nacua with the 177th overall pick, who proceeded to set the All-Time Rookie Receiving Record in the NFL.”
