Here’s how to watch Day 2 of the 2023 NFL Draft with a focus on the Denver Broncos. They may not have a second round pick, but they do pick early in the third.

After two full years, the Denver Broncos were finally able to make a draft pick in the first round. The last time they picked they got all-world cornerback Patrick Surtin II, so the bar is set pretty high. With that 12th overall pick, they landed Oregon quarterback Bo Nix and thus a new era began in Denver with a title of ‘franchise quarterback’ at stake for the young rookie.

Here’s what you need to know about Day 2 for the second and third rounds of the 2024 NFL Draft.

What time does the 2024 NFL Draft start?

Day 2: Rounds 2 & 3

Former Denver Broncos tight end Tony Scheffler will be making the pick announcement for their Day 2 pick.

When: Friday, April 26th at 5 p.m. Mountain

Time per pick: 7 minutes for round 2; 5 minutes for round 3

TV channels: ESPN, ABC, & NFL Network

Streaming: YouTube TV, Sling, Hulu+, and FuboTV

Broncos: George Paton and Sean Payton to meet with press after Day 2.

Day 3: Rounds 4 through 7

When: Saturday, April 27th at 10 a.m. Mountain

Time per pick: 5 minutes for rounds 4-6; 4 minutes for round 7

TV channels: ESPN, ABC, & NFL Network

Streaming: YouTube TV, Sling, Hulu+, and FuboTV

Broncos: George Paton and Sean Payton to meet with press after Day 3.

What time do the Broncos pick on Day 2?

Currently, they pick in the early part of the third round with the 76th overall pick. They also have a boat load of Day 3 picks and could be a team to watch late in the third to make a move back into Day 2 with an additional pick.

Given they are right around that midway point in Day 2, you could guess they should be picking around the 6:20 p.m. range.

NFL Draft Results – Round 1

Despite all of the pre-draft hype about chaos ensuring, the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft was rather subdued. No real crazy trades and teams mostly stayed put or moved a few spots here and there. The most interesting part was that 14 offensive players went before the first defensive player was selected and that had never come close to happening before in NFL draft history. Not only that, but six quarterbacks went in the first 12 picks, which was another first.
