In an interview with CNBC, Australian ODI and Test captain Cummins grabbed attention with his bold statement regarding the potential four semi-finalists at the upcoming marquee event. Cummins confidently stated that Australia would secure a spot, leaving the interviewer to select the remaining three.

“Definitely Australia. And then you can choose which three you want,” Cummins told CNBC.

The interviewer chuckled at his candidness before pressing Cummins again to name the other three teams. Undeterred, Cummins reiterated his confidence, stating that he wasn’t concerned about the other teams.

“I don’t care; you can pick any of them,” the 30-year-old stated.
