Chelsea are certainly having one of their worst seasons in their history this year. 12th in the Premier League, the Blues will not see Europe next year. Add to that a very disappointing winter recruitment, and three coaches unable to turn things around, and you have a huge building site. A nice mess that a new coach will have to take over this summer, since Frank Lampard should leave the ship. Big favourite: Mauricio Pochettino.

Talks between the London club and the Argentinian tactician are currently taking place. Lampard spoke at a press conference about his succession. “Chelsea absolutely have to take their time to find the right manager. (…) I have always been part of the Chelsea team which regularly changed coaches. Looking back, it’s easy to say that I was very successful. I won three titles, but I should have won five or six. That’s my feeling. We could have won more titles if we had been more consistent and if we could have worked in one direction. And I think that’s what we should have done.”.
