Watch some highlights for the new linebacker!
After waiting a long time on the second day of the NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks got an early start on Saturday morning! Although they held the second pick of the fourth round, they made a trade! The reached an agreement with the Denver Broncos to swap for the 121st pick and pick up a couple later round selections. With this pick, the team selected Tyrice Knight, linebacker from UTEP! Dane Brugler described him as the following:
“Overall, Knight has some coverage limitations, but he is a rabid dog against the run, with the instincts and play personality that directly led to production. He has rosterable talent at the next level and is looking to become UTEP’s first defensive draft pick since 2008 (Quintin Demps).
I think we can all agree, the Seahawks needed some competition at linebacker. With that in mind, this pick is welcome. Here are some highlights to pour over to get excited about the newest member of the Seahawks roster!
