In this week’s SB Nation Reacts survey, we are asking fans two questions:
- Are you confident the Lions are headed in the right direction? (weekly poll)
- What is the most likely outcome for the Lions vs. Raiders on MNF?
With regards to the first survey question, this is a question that we will ask weekly and track the results throughout the season. Here are the results we have seen so far:
- Following Week 1 win over Chiefs: 99%
- Week 2 loss to Seahawks: 86%
- Week 3 win over Falcons: 97%
- Week 4 win over Packers: 99%
- Week 5 win over the Panthers: 99%
- Week 6 win over the Buccaneers: 99%
Lions fans have been the most confident fan base in the NFL for the last three weeks, but a 38-6 beating in Week 7, courtesy of the Baltimore Ravens, will surely put a dent in the results of this poll.
While a direct response from Lions fans wouldn’t be surprising, it’s important to remember, that this question is asking how confident you are in the direction of this organization. Meaning, that while this week’s blowout certainly impacted some fans’ views on the team’s potential this season, the question wants to know how much it impacted the overall direction of the Lions.
The second question in this survey wants to know your thoughts on the Lions’ upcoming game against the Las Vegas Raiders in week 8 on “Monday Night Football.” Will the Lions get back on track? Will they be focused on setting out to prove last week was an anomaly? Or will they succumb to the pressure and fold in front of a national audience?
