Ryan Nemeth saves Matt Hardy from ‘neck injury’ in TNA

on

Nic Nemeth is on the shelf due to a ‘neck injury’ suffered at the hands of Moose and The System. Well, that’s the story inside the Impact Zone. In reality, the Wanted Man has been busy winning the AAA Mega Championship and dropping the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship. When the System tried to damage Matt Hardy’s neck on Thursday night’s edition of Impact (May 9, 2024), Nemeth made the save. No, not Nic. Ryan Nemeth was the hero of the moment.

The show opened with the System celebrating their success. Moose stood tall with the TNA World Championship, Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards held the TNA World Tag Team Championship, and Alisha Edwards recently won the Knockouts Tag Team Championship with Masha Slamovich at Under Siege. It was a party until Hardy interrupted.

Broken Matt declared that the war is far from over. He will procure the world title and make the System obsolete. Moose pointed out the 4-on-1 odds, so Hardy used a chair to even the playing field. The numbers game got him though, and Moose set up a conchairto style of torture on Hardy’s neck. Before execution could be completed, Ryan Nemeth stormed in for the save.

Ryan has been seen various times over the weeks in support of Nic, but this was the first time he crossed the line into the TNA ring. Enough was enough, and the Hollywood Hunk had to do what’s right. When it comes crashing down and hurts inside, he had to take a stand. It didn’t help to hide.

Ryan had been plying his trade in AEW, primarily on the Dark circuit, before this visit to TNA. Time will tell how high the Hunk can rise in the Impact Zone. Maybe a Nemeth brothers tag team could be in store.

What would you like to see from Ryan Nemeth in TNA?
