TNA is getting in on the act with a huge announcement of their own. I’ll let you decide the level of hugeness for this message from Santino Marella.
Santino is currently employed as the Director of Authority in TNA. He’ll get ideas in his noggin from time to time for special matchmaking. With that in mind, Santino announced a monumental match to air next week for Impact on May 16.
Santino introduced the Champions Challenge match, which will be the biggest main event in Impact history. The format is an 8 versus 8 tag match. Champions stand on one side with Moose, Mustafa Ali, Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, Laredo Kid, Jordynne Grace, Alisha Edwards, and Masha Slamovich. A cast of super all-stars is the opposing team with Matt Hardy, Ryan Nemeth, Eric Young, Sami Callihan, Joe Hendry, Steph De Lander, Dani Luna, and Jody Threat.

As of this writing, there was no mention of any type of prize for the winners. The match seems to revolve around the glory of bragging rights. Huzzah!
