Big armed quarterback is intriguing

The Las Vegas are looking at all the quarterback prospects leading up to the NFL draft and one of the players is Tennessee’s Joe Milton.

Let’s take a closer look at Milton:

Size:

6-5, 235 pounds.

2023 Stats:
He completed 64.7 percent of his passes with 20 touchdowns and five interceptions for the Volunteers.

Career highlights:

Milton, who turned 24 in March, spent six season at the college level at Michigan and Tennessee. He spent three seasons at both schools. He was 2-3 as a starter at Michigan. He had better success in Knoxville as he went 12-6 as the starter at Tennessee. Even though, he was in college for six seasons, 2023 was his only season as the a full-time starter.

Traits:

Milton is huge and he has a cannon for an arm. He has accuracy issues and is very raw.

How he’d fit in with Raiders:

Milton would be a developmental player who probably wouldn’t be a realistic option to play in 2024.

What’s his draft range?

He’s a specimen who could get overdrafted. But he’s likely a fourth-sixth pick.
