Miami reached the playoffs in each of the last two seasons, but where do they stand entering 2024?

Christian Wilkins signed with the Las Vegas Raiders, Robert Hunt joined the Carolina Panthers and Andrew Van Ginkel voyaged to Minnesota to become a Viking — the sky was falling in South Florida just weeks ago.

The Miami Dolphins sat $40 million over the salary cap and nearly half the team’s roster began the new year as free agents. Was the window officially closed?

Once free agency began, general manager Chris Grier rebuilt the linebacking group with Jordyn Brooks and Anthony Walker Jr. He improved the secondary with Kendall Fuller and Jordan Poyer. There was even enough cap space left to sign someone with experience playing center!

Players like Wilkins, Hunt, and Van Ginkel will be missed, but after catching our breath — things aren’t too bad just days before the 2024 NFL Draft.

PFF kicked off draft week by power-ranking all 32 teams with the Dolphins listed as the AFC’s fourth-best team and seventh league-wide. The Kansas City Chiefs lead the pack, followed by the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens.

The Dolphins sit three spots ahead of the Buffalo Bills. Meanwhile, The New York Jets rank No. 19 and the New England Patriots hope a big-time draft class can help improve the league’s No. 31 ranked roster.

Let us know what you think — is Miami worthy of a Top 10 spot after back-to-back playoff seasons?
