Cam Gill has appeared in 40 career games since entering the league in 2020.

Veteran evaluations continue for the New England Patriots as the 2024 NFL draft nears.

The organization hosted former Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Cam Gill for a workout on Tuesday, per ESPN’s Mike Reiss.

Gill, 26, entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2020. The Wagner product made Tampa Bay’s 53-man roster out of training camp as a rookie and has since checked into 40 career games.

In the regular season, Gill’s stay with the Buccaneers spanned 29 tackles, 2.5 sacks and one forced fumble across 184 snaps on defense and 768 snaps on special teams. In the postseason, he added a half-sack versus Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes on the way to a Super Bowl LV ring.

Gill spent part of 2021 and all of 2022 on injured reserve. He returned to appear in a career-high 15 contests last campaign while leading Tampa Bay with 71.6 percent of the workload in the kicking game.

Listed at 6-foot-3, 240 pounds, Gill twice earned first-team All-NEC and NEC Defensive Player of the Year honors at the collegiate level.

Last week, the Patriots worked out veteran tight ends Brycen Hopkins, Sean McKeon as well as Mitchell Wilcox, who has since signed.
