North Ayrshire (NATTC) will welcome Ormeau to Scotland as they look to extend their lead at the top of the SBL Premier Division. Both sides have only lost once this season, meaning they are setting their sights on a top four position when the league is split in two once all six rounds are played. All this weekend’s games will be streamed live on Table Tennis England’s online platform TTE.TV.

NATTC have been involved in four thrilling ties so far, with all fixtures being won by a margin of just one match. Their new signing Viktor Gorman, who impressed during their back-to-back victories two weeks ago, will be part of their trio. Martin Johnson and Colin Dalgleish will make up the team as Chris Main is unavailable due to injury.

Xavier Dixson, Australia’s number one and ranked 98th in the world, will lead the Ormeau team. Matt Ware and Zak Wilson will join him.

North Ayrshire may have surprised a few with their solid run of form, with team spirit playing a huge part of their success. Billy Main, club founder, explained:  “Of the seven teams in the league we have the lowest ranked players, but we are getting the results with our fighting spirit within the team. This match will be the toughest match we have played this season and are looking forward to the challenge.”

Brighton TTC will move off the bottom of the table if they are able to overcome BATTS on Saturday. The match, due to start at 13:00, will give BATTS an opportunity to bounce back from their agonising last set loss to Ormesby two weeks ago.
