The NFL’s social media team asked Drake Maye’s brothers to record a special video message for him in honor of becoming a first-round selection in this year’s draft. They did record something, but rather than congratulating him used the opportunity to troll him.

Referencing a scene from the 2011 ESPN documentary The Fab Five, the three Maye brothers — Beau, Cole and Luke — called him a “pretty boy,” “overrated,” and “a b—h.”

In the original documentary, basketball players Jalen Rose, Juwan Howard and Jimmy King are seen insulting Duke player Christian Laettner. More than a decade after the show first aired, the brief clip went viral and turned into a meme — one that is seemingly still relevant in the Maye household.

Maye, the former North Carolina starting quarterback was selected third overall by the New England Patriots on Thursday night. He was one of six quarterbacks coming off the board within the first 12 picks.
