What do you think of the pick?

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Minnesota Vikings fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.

Well, for the first time in the history of the franchise, the Minnesota Vikings have selected a quarterback in the top ten picks of an NFL Draft.

We now know that after a small trade up to #10 with the New York Jets, the Minnesota Vikings selected Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy. The common wisdom going into Draft Weekend was that the Vikings were going to have to make a significant trade up in order to get themselves a quarterback, but they managed to get their guy without giving up their second first-rounder in this year’s Draft or giving up a first-rounder next year.

The Vikings then made another trade up the board and got a player who, going into tonight’s first round, was the consensus best edge defender in this year’s class in Dallas Turner from Alabama. He’s going to have an opportunity to replace Danielle Hunter and be an instant impact player in the Vikings’ defense under Brian Flores.

So, now that the picks are officially in, we want to know what you think of the selection. We’ve got our SB Nation Reacts survey below ready to go for you and we want to invite you to participate in the poll and make your voice heard in the comments section.

Sound off, ladies and gentlemen!
