The Bengals opt to bolster the offensive line.

The NFL Draft is underway, and the Cincinnati Bengals have made their first-round selection!

With the 18th pick this evening, the Bengals selected Georgia Bulldogs right tackle Amarius Mims.

Mims, a 6-foot-8 and 340-pound tackle from Cochran (GA), spent three seasons playing for the Bulldogs, in which he became a key part of their talented o-line.

This past season, he started six games at right tackle and appeared in seven games total due to some injury troubles.

Now, the Bengals will look to get some immediate contributions from the talented o-lineman as they try to continually bolster the line to protect Joe Burrow. With Jonah Williams off to Arizona, one would believe we might see Mims get some early run with the 1’s as well, though Orlando Brown and Trent Brown figure to have the starting spots locked up.
