The next big hype event for Smash Bros is going to be the Luminosity Invitational. This is an exclusive tournament, where only the best players are competing in a single Smash Bros Ultimate bracket.

The tournament isn’t going for a larger pools round. However, everyone on the roster here has earned their invite through their past results in Smash esports events. The tournament is focusing exclusively on Ultimate. While Melee has plenty of events, it’s always exciting to see Ultimate in focus. The invited players are a great example of how diverse the roster at major events has gotten, there’s Sonic players, Kirby, Fox, a great spread of characters represented.
