Cowboys fans have their say pre-draft

It’s draft day. The NFL 2024 Draft has finally arrived and will commence at 8 PM ET tonight. The Dallas Cowboys have placed an inordinate amount of pressure on themselves to hit on most of their picks as they basically bypassed free agency. Letting many players leave in free agency, including starters Tyron Smith, Tyler Biadasz and Tony Pollard, has opened some holes on the roster.

Since free agency, offensive line has been a focus in mock drafts and among fan discussions. But there has also been a lot of chatter about trading down to grab some more picks in order to fill all those roster holes.

So we put two questions to you, the Dallas Cowboys faithful. In one question we asked you whether the Cowboys should trade down, trade up, or stay put. The overwhelming majority of fans would like to trade down from pick number 24 in the first round.

We had a second question. If the Cowboys stay put in the first round, which position should they draft? We gave three choices – offensive tackle, center, or some other position. The majority of fans would like to see the Cowboys grab an offensive tackle.

We’ll see what the Cowboys end up doing tonight.
