Both sides seem “impatient” as talks have progressed little.

Since the arrival of Joe Burrow, the Cincinnati Bengals have been one of the best teams in the NFL. With that national spotlight, the team’s stadium, Paycor Stadium, has been put on a television screen more times than seemingly ever before.

That said, the Bengals are going to start having lease negotiations with the Hamilton County Commissioners, and neither side has been going at a reasonable pace. Both sides seem to be growing increasingly frustrated with the situation.

Here is an excerpt on the situation from the Sports Business Journal, quoting a source from the Cincinnati Enquirer.

“Talks between Hamilton County and the Bengals on a new Paycor Stadium lease have ‘not progressed as quickly as the team and county leaders have hoped,’ and the Bengals ‘are getting impatient,’ according to Scott Wartman of the Cincinnati Enquirer,” the site wrote.

Here’s the link to the Enquirer’s piece on the story as well.

The Bengals have five two-year lease terms that they can agree to under their current lease, and they may be looking for north of nine figures in potential aid to get more stadium upgrades.

More information has yet to be released as both sides seem stalled in the conversations. Nonetheless, expect more to be known in the near future as the sides need to come to a conclusion on how to proceed.
