If the Denver Broncos can get away with this type of trade and land Jayden Daniels they should absolutely pull the trigger.

In a seven-round mock over at Pro Football Focus, they had the Denver Broncos trading up with the New England Patriots for their franchise quarterback. LSU’s Jayden Daniels has that unique skillset to stress NFL defenses and the trade package Denver sent to New England in this mock is more than reasonable.

3. DENVER BRONCOS (VIA PATRIOTS): QB JAYDEN DANIELS, LSU

Mock Trade: Broncos receive Pick No. 3; Patriots receive Pick Nos. 12 and 76 and a 2025 first-round pick

With many quarterback-needy teams potentially looking to move up to secure a signal-caller, Denver could get aggressive here. Daniels has the sound mechanics and touch to attack all levels of the field in Sean Payton’s offense, as well as the out-of-structure ability to take the system to the next level the Broncos had hoped for when acquiring Russell Wilson.

The only caveat here is that I firmly believe a trade from 12th to 3rd or even 4th would cost a minimum of three first-round picks. To get away with just two first-round picks and a third is a steal and the Broncos would be foolish not to pull the trigger on this deal if it were to happen.

There has been murmurs that Daniels and the Washington Commanders are not heading for a fit with the second overall pick, but there have been counter rumors too. So who knows what the Commanders will end up doing there as Drake Maye or J.J. McCarthy is a possibility there too. Ideally, we see a team like the Minnesota Vikings move up to the third spot to get their quarterback and the fourth quarterback of the elite four slides past the sixth spot and into a range prime for a move up by Denver.

However, if this trade package and pick were to happen, would you love it? Vote below.
