The Arizona Cardinals get a wide receiver and trade back in Miller’s final mock draft.

We are winding down to the 2024 NFL Draft and the final mock drafts for many of the big name analyst are coming in.

Matt Miller of ESPN has dropped his final 2024 NFL Mock Draft on ESPN Insider.

From E$PN:

4. Arizona Cardinals

Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State

Harrison met with two teams for “30” visits in the lead-up to the draft — the Bears and Cardinals. Sources around the NFL say Harrison has an assurance from the Cardinals that he will be the pick if available at this spot. Arizona would be getting its next Larry Fitzgerald to pair with quarterback Kyler Murray. Harrison has great body control, speed and instincts.

Cox’s Call: We will see what happens tomorrow, but this seems like it is as close to being a done deal as possible.

Projected trade: Raiders hop back into Round 1

Raiders get: No. 27

Cardinals get: No. 44 and a 2025 second-rounder

Las Vegas missed out on the top four quarterbacks at No. 13, but it could certainly make a move to add QB5 (or QB6, depending on how you stack Penix and Nix) later in Round 1. The Raiders have eight picks in 2024, but I have them pairing a 2025 selection with this year’s second-rounder to get back into Day 1.

I go back and forth on this.

The additional second round pick next year is nice, you now sit with these five picks:

  • 2.35
  • 2.44
  • 3.66
  • 3.71
  • 3.90

Let’s just throw some names from the consensus big board on each pick:

  • 2.35 – Darius Robinson, Edge, Missouri
  • 2.44 – Braden Fiske, DT, Florida State
  • 3.66 – Christian Haynes, OG, UConn
  • 3.71 – Jaylen Wright, RB, Tennessee
  • 3.90 – Devontez Walker, WR, North Carolina

Now, that is just straight player rankings from the Consensus Big Board, but if that ended up being the picks, maybe a cornerbacks gets swapped in there, is that better than sitting at 27 and picking?
