What does Underdog Mean in Brawl Stars?

According to Supercell, if you and your allies have a gap of 150 trophies in 3v3 games, you will get the Underdog Status. With this, you will be able to gain more Mastery Points and trophies. You will be able to get four additional Trophies and some very rare rewards. Furthermore, you will not face a trophy loss if you have the Underdog Status.

Consider this: If you join a lobby with 900 points and your friend has 400 points. Then a third player joins your lobby with 600 points. The lobby you will get will be based on your ranking. This will put the third person in a disadvantaged position, and they will then be given the Underdog Status.

If you choose to click on the “Play Again” option, it will take away your underdog status. What this feature does is it gives you a chance to try out new things and face new challenges.

You should keep in mind that the Underdog Status is limited to just 3v3 game modes so that the game can maintain some competitive integrity and help you understand how the Brawlers work when paired with other Brawlers.

It is also to be kept in mind that there isn’t a certain way to get the Underdog Status in the game. So, players can try their luck by teaming up with players who have a low trophy count and try to get the Underdog Status.
