“Thanks to my big boobs, I worked as a bra tester for Serena Williams!”

on

Jessica Leahy is a girl who was approached to work as a bra tester for Serena Williams. And, as Jessica herself pointed out, she got the job because of her big boobs! Jessica was approached by a bra company who decided she was getting serious about breast care, she says in a 2019 article.

Their task was to measure the bounce of a woman’s breasts while running to develop a more comfortable sports bra. Leahy’s measurements were similar enough to stand in for Swerena Williams. She was asked to run with and without a bra so that scientists could measure how much her boobs moved.

Some time ago she said: “There I was, without top on a Canberra running track, with a few other half-dressed models doing the same. When we weren’t running we were all standing around chatting, our bodies dotted with dozens of wireless sensors. It might look like the making of a Sports-themed CGI p*rn, but it wasn’t.

It was clinical. We’d be surrounded by very polite researchers who would step away from their data screens just to politely ask if they could adjust the neurons around the nipples for better reading. Honestly, they’re happy memories.

The only thing I’m sad about was there wasn’t a real Serena there, she was probably too busy winning somewhere so I understand. The whole point of the exercise was that the particular brand of bra, the one Williams was wearing at the time, had developed a metric by which to measure which bras worked best for which activity. And, as my bouncy braless chest can confirm, they really put their products through their paces.”

Serena’s career

Serena Williams left tennis last September, at the US Open, in front of her home crowd. The US star has won 73 WTA singles titles. 23 of these are Grand Slam events, making her the second player ever to have won more Majors in this specialty behind only Margaret Smith Court, with 24.

She completed the virtual Grand Slam, which consists in winning four consecutive Slams not in the same calendar year, twice. She has also won five year-end Master Cups and 19 Premier category tournaments, as well as 21 Tier I and Tier II titles and a gold medal from the London Olympics in 2012 against Maria Sharapova.

Not only in singles Serena Williams can boast numerous victories, but also in women’s doubles and mixed doubles, where there are 16 other Grand Slam tournaments: 14 won with her older sister Venus and two in mixed doubles, both obtained with Maks Mirny in 1998.

To these successes must be added three other gold medals at the Olympics, all won together with Venus, a Federation Cup and two Hopman Cups. Serena managed to earn 340 million dollars thanks to sponsorship contracts. Forbes last spring placed her in 31st place in the 2022 ranking of the highest paid athletes in the world.

Serena Williams is also on the Forbes ranking of the richest self-made women in the United States. In this case, she ranks ninetieth with an estimated $ 260 million in assets. The only other athlete present is Maria Sharapova, who found herself in 97th place with a fortune of forty million dollars less than her former colleague.
