Bucs fans seem extremely pleased with the new addition to the offensive line

It’s not often that the overwhelming majority of Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans agree on something. Maybe it’s the split among college allegiances, maybe it’s the generational gap where there are varying philosophies on what makes a winner – but outside of the signing of Tom Brady, it’s hard to remember the last time this many Bucs fans all had such similar reactions to a move.

That said, the addition of interior offensive lineman Graham Barton out of Duke has Bucs fans feeling pretty good on Friday morning. Now, it’s not unanimous as there were a few people that wanted Tampa to go in a different direction, but after taking to X to ask what our followers thought of the pick, most reacted in a very positive manner;

Some were happy with the pick, but already turning their attention to the second and third rounds on Friday night;

However, this X user might have the best comparison I’ve seen yet when talking about Barton;

Then, there were a few people that weren’t thrilled – and I highly recommend you watch the video in the second tweet if you want a real good laugh;

With needs still at edge rusher, wide receiver, running back, cornerback, safety, and linebacker the Bucs are in great shape to let the board fall to them on night two. Keep in mind, the second day of the draft is where Jason Licht has done a lot of his damage as a general manager. Besides former Bucs like Ali Marpet, Mike Edwards, and Carlton Davis who were big contributors over the last few years, these are some of the day two players still on the team that play huge roles – Chris Godwin, Antoine Winfield Jr., Jordan Whitehead, Jamel Dean, Rachaad White, Cody Mauch, Luke Goedeke, YaYa Diaby, and although he wasn’t a Jason Licht pick don’t forget that Lavonte David was a day two selection.

The Bucs currently have picks 57 (second round), 89, and 92 (both third round) giving them four picks in the top 100.
