Here’s your live open thread for day two of the draft.

Day one of the 2024 NFL Draft did not go quite as Green Bay Packers fans expected — and not as many of them hoped. With Cooper DeJean and Graham Barton both still on the board when the Packers went on the clock with the 25th pick in round one, general manager Brian Gutekunst sent in a card for Arizona offensive tackle Jordan Morgan instead.

That pick came after the first 14 picks in the draft were used on offensive players, including six quarterbacks in the top 12. The board fell nicely for the Packers, who were seemingly very happy to get Morgan when they did amidst a number of intriguing options.

Tonight, day two gets underway with the Packers holding four more top-100 selections, two each in rounds two and three. Green Bay has reportedly been making calls about trading up into the earlier part of round two, however, perhaps for a player like DeJean or linebacker Edgerrin Cooper.

Join us throughout Friday night as we follow the Packers’ picks, and be sure to watch out for live discussions on Twitter Spaces after each selection.
