Bleacher Report CFB Analyst Michael Felder breaks down why he loves Mike Sainristil on the latest Trap or Dive Podcast

Washington’s decision to select Mike Sainristil in the second round of the draft has received a lot of positive feedback from college football analysts, scouts, and coaches. Nick Saban, for instance, loves the 5’9”, 182-pound cornerback, describing him as “possibly the best football player, pound-for-pound in the draft.” Michael Felder, former North Carolina Tarheel safety and current CFB analyst for Bleacher Report, has even named Sainristil as his favorite player in the entire draft. On the latest episode of Trap or Dive, Felder joined the show and addressed any concerns about Sainristil’s size, emphasizing his physical toughness and willingness to get his hands dirty.

Listen to the whole discussion with Michael Felder below. We discuss:

  • Common misconceptions about Jayden Daniels’s skillset
  • Mike Sainristil born to play cornerback: Day one starter
  • Two reaches in Ben Sinnott and Luke McCaffrey: Although not high on Sinnott, Felder believes McCaffrey is special
