Matteo Berrettini’s girlfriend still lashes out at the haters

on

One of the most discussed couples in Italian sport and in the world of tennis in general is undoubtedly the one made up of the well-known Italian tennis player Matteo Berrettini and the showgirl Melissa Satta, TV presenter also known as the former partner of the soccer player Kevin Prince Boateng.

The two have been a steady couple for months now, they have attended various public events and their relationship is booming. Unfortunately, in this 2023 Matteo Berrettini has been the victim of several injuries and is currently experiencing one of the darkest periods of his career.

Social networks often exaggerate and create absurd, sometimes destructive theories. One of these is that the relationship between the two is compromising Matteo’s career, thus putting Melissa in the media pillory.

In recent weeks, Satta has countered on social media, Berrettini himself has defended their relationship, but many continue to attack the woman who has intervened in the Italian TV show Le Iene in the last few hours.

Melissa Satta made a beautiful message against the haters, telling her story. The text of her monologue was called Se*ism and bullying.

Melissa Satta, the text of her monologue

The video of the woman’s monologue appeared at the Hyenas and has now gone viral. Melissa intervenes and tells her situation, which has now become difficult:

“I’ve been the victim of insinuations and insults about my relationship for some time. At the beginning they were just comments on social media, you get used to these things, but when my boyfriend was forced to withdraw from a tournament due to injury, I understood that the problem it was much bigger.

An important Italian newspaper titled Melissa Satta brings bad luck, A title that I don’t know is unacceptable but which is an indication of the profound sexism present in our society.

Cherchez la femme, wrote Dumas more than 160 years ago and this expression still very much describes the irresistible temptation, when something in a man’s life goes wrong, to blame his woman.

Have you ever read the opposite? No! No one has ever written this and this situation, I want to blame the other is the same one that many women are victims of. The next time you feel like writing a hateful comment, try to stop me and reflect on why you feel that hatred. You could become better people.”
