WCG’s lead draft analyst breaks down the tape of the Bears’ newest offensive lineman.

With the No. 75 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears have selected Yale offensive lineman Kiran Amegadjie.

A three-year starter at the collegiate level and a 2023 first-team FCS All-American, Amegadjie dominated at the FCS level and was the first player selected in this year’s draft to not play at the FBS level. His length, mobility and play strength are widely considered to be positives of his game, as they were on full display in his dominant tape at Yale.

Amegadjie was the No. 58 player on my board this year, my top offensive lineman on the board, as well as the fourth-best overall player still available in my rankings at the time of his selection. His starting experience at both tackle and guard should make him a valuable asset for Chicago’s offensive line as their swing man in 2024 and an easily projectable starter in the near future.

Here’s my quick breakdown of the Bears selecting the Hinsdale native Amegadjie.
