Dragon Lee will miss NXT ‘New Year’s Evil’ but promises a ‘big surprise’

Just a short while ago, current NXT North American Champion Dragon Lee tweeted the following:

“Sad news to kick off the year, but due to visa issues I am unable to leave Mexico right now. Por eso, I will miss NXT New Years Evil… But the LWO has a big surprise for the NQCC and the NXT Universe tomorrow night.”

If you click in and look at the replies to that tweet, you’ll see plenty of fans speculating that Andrade could be the big surprise to align with the LWO, who linked up with Lee while reuniting with Elektra Lopez just last week. They’ve been feuding with the No Quarter Catch Crew of late, as Lee mentioned in his tweet.

Andrade, who just left AEW following his final match against Miro at Worlds End this past weekend, would certainly count as a big surprise. We’ll have to stay tuned.
