The Dallas Cowboys traded down in the first round with the Detroit Lions.

The Dallas Cowboys have made a move. In a bit of a shocker, with top offensive line targets Graham Barton and Tyler Guyton still on the board, the Cowboys bailed out of their pick at 24 and have moved down in the first round.

Dallas agreed to send pick 24 and a 2025 seventh-rounder to the Detroit Lions in return for pick 29 in the first round and pick 73 in the third round.

Using the 2024 NFL Trade Value Chart, Dallas sent 740ish value points and got 865 in return. They now hold two picks in the third round of the draft.

Below are Dallas’ updated picks in the draft.
