Our SB Nation Reacts poll gave Miami Dolphins fans a chance to reflect on the team’s performance at the 2024 NFL Draft. Did they decide Miami was a winner or a loser?

The Miami Dolphins selected Penn State edge rusher Chop Robinson with the 21st overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. They then continued the three-day selection process with the additions of Houston tackle Patrick Paul, Tennessee running back Jaylen Wright, Colorado State edge rusher Mohamed Kamara, Virginia wide receiver Malik Washington, Cal safety Patrick McMorris, and USC wide receiver Tahj Washington. The team added top-rated talent while also filling roster needs. But, did they make the right selections?

Our SB Nation Reacts poll, in partnership with DraftKings Sportsbook, allowed fans to voice their opinion on the Dolphins’ performance in the NFL Draft. The results were overwhelmingly positive, with 82 percent of the fans rating Miami as winners.

While the Dolphins’ draft performance was well-received by their fans, it’s worth noting their position in the league’s fan ratings. Dolphins fans and the Carolina Panthers ranked 21st in terms of positive fan base. The Chicago Bears led the league with a 99 percent “winners” rating, followed by the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Arizona Cardinals.

The only team to receive a “loser” rating was the Atlanta Falcons, for whom 51 percent of the respondents voted negatively while 49 percent voted them a winner.

In the AFC, the New England Patriots were tied for 15th in the league, with 90 percent of the fans rating them as winners. The New York Jets tied for 17th with an 89 percent positive rating, while the Buffalo Bills were 30th at 84 percent.

This week’s poll also asked for your thoughts on the team’s remaining needs following the draft. Overwhelmingly, the concern remains the interior offensive line, receiving 74 percent of the vote. Sticking along the line of scrimmage but switching to the other side of the ball, defensive tackle is the top concern for 15 percent of the fans.

The remaining options, linebacker and tight end, received six and five percent of the vote, respectively.

With a new round of free agency opening, will the Dolphins address any of those positions or do the coaches already believe they have the players in place for this season? Miami added wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr., this week, signaling the front office may not be done with adding pieces to the roster.
