It’s not an AEW pay-per-view night without at least 11 matches booked, so there was still room for more fights to be announced for this Sunday’s (Apr. 21) Dynasty event. That’s exactly what happened today, with AEW officially booking two new matches for the Zero Hour pre-show.
First up is Trent Beretta vs. Matt Sydal. Trent recently turned heel on Orange Cassidy and tossed a chair at Matt Sydal’s head to stop him from help his fellow babyface. That means Trent now gets to beat Matt in a singles match on the Dynasty pre-show.

Next up is Cassidy teaming up with Katsuyori Shibata to take on Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty. Orange beat Shane on Dynamite last night, but Taylor and Moriarty stood tall over him in a post-match attack, thanks in part to the aforementioned assist from Trent.

These two pre-show matches now make for a 12 match night, so we’ll see if Tony Khan stops there or is tempted to add even more, depending on what angles go down on this Saturday’s episodes of Collision and Rampage.
Here is the updated lineup for AEW Dynasty on Sunday:
• Samoa Joe (c) vs. Swerve Strickland for the AEW World championship
• Toni Storm (c) vs. Thunder Rosa for the AEW Women’s World title
• Young Bucks vs. FTR in a ladder match for the vacant AEW World Tag Team championship:
• Julia Hart (c) vs. Willow Nightingale for the TBS title
• Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. PAC for the AEW Continental championship
• Roderick Strong (c) vs. Kyle O’Reilly for the AEW International title
• Bryan Danielson vs. Will Ospreay
• Adam Copeland, Mark Briscoe, & Eddie Kingston vs. House of Black
• HOOK (c) vs. Chris Jericho for the FTW championship
• The Acclaimed & Daddy Ass vs. Bullet Club Gold for the AEW Trios and ROH Six-Man titles (pre-show)
• Orange Cassidy & Trent Beretta vs. Shane Moriarty & Lee Moriarty (pre-show)
• Matt Sydal vs. Trent Beretta (pre-show)
It looks like a great lineup to me, even without Jon Moxley. But how do you feel about it, Cagesiders?
