You Can Apply to Play 2XKO Early Now

on

One of the biggest upcoming fighters is 2XKO, a new fighter coming from Riot Games. Long rumoured, the game is getting quite a bit closer to its eventual release now. Including opening up applications for the first 2XKO playtest.

Players interested in getting a head start on the fighter will soon be able to test all of the characters released so far out. The game has already been featured at quite a few fighting game esports events. Including a demo later this month at EVO Japan. This is a chance for players attending big events to try the game out, but so far those of us not going in person have been limited to reading through their takes on the title. That’s going to change though.

Some lucky players will be able to playtest 2XKO at home, starting pretty soon. Riot has confirmed that the testing period for the game is about to get wider, and you can apply to try the game out now.

2XKO Playtest Applications Open to the Public

The 2XKO playtest will be one of the widest looks at how this upcoming fighting game is progressing. How can you get involved though This isn’t going to be a super wide demo that anyone can download and try out. At this early stage, it’s only going to be select players who get in.

How will Riot decide who makes it into the playtest? They’ve opened up a system for players to apply to be a part of the test. You can fill out an application form on the official site. If selected, you’ll then be able to join the 2XKO playtest when it launches. We don’t know what the criteria is for getting in yet though.

The big question is when will the playtest actually open up? The game doesn’t even have a release date yet. However, the title is expected by many to be released next year. We could see this early play test begin in a few month’s time.

Only a handful of characters have been unveiled for 2XKO so far. Including the recently announced Illaoi However, this playtest will showcase all of them and it’s possible we’ll have more characters by the time the demo itself begins.
