on

Another day, another collab from Sui and Mysten Labs. Next in line in XOCIETY, one of the most highly anticipated Web3 games out there.  XOCIETY and Mysten Labs will work together to revolutionize gaming in the Web3 space.

This means that the game’s developers, NDUS Interactive, will launch XOCIETY on Sui through the partnership. Currently, we’re looking at early access release in the final quarter of 2024. From there, players will be able to experience both online and offline in game events.

RPG, PVP, PvE

XOCIETY is one of those games that fits into a number of 3 letter categories. At its heart, it’s a pop shooter game with a number of RPG (role playing game) features.

But there’s a little more too it than that too. Through the online capabilities, players can take part in competitive PVP (player vs player) events as well as PvE (player vs. environment) experiences.

AAA gaming experiences are becoming more common with layer 1 blockchains like Sui becoming available to developers along with onboarding experiences like Stardust.

A gaming experience like this has got to come from a team with some experience. Developed by TeamNDUS, XOCIETY’s core leadership team has experience from global game companies such as NCSOFT, Nexon, and Krafton. Members of the team that are driving the game forwards towards its release date include:

Myoungjin Lee, Creative Artist & Author of Ragnarok original.

Sang Chung, Business Director, former Head of PlayDapp, the first Korean web3 company to list on Coinbase & Binance

Jeffry Kim, Lead Director, 20 Years of Experience, multiple lead experience of dev projects for NCSOFT, NEXON.

XOCIETY’s partnership with Mysten Labs is the first in a series of catalysts to push AAA Web3 gaming in the mainstream.

In recent months, Sui has introduced a number of new partnerships to improve their user experience. Now, fans can eagerly await XOCIETY’s early access release later this year.
