WWE Draft, round 4: Kiana James called up

Another NXT star gets the call, this time from the women’s division.

Here’s how round four of the 2024 WWE Draft played out:

1. SmackDown: AJ Styles
2. Raw: Alpha Academy
3. SmackDown: Andrade
4. Raw: Kiana James

This was the final round for the first night, and saw old favorites Teddy Long and JBL making appearances to announce the selections.

The blue brand retained the services of AJ Styles, who is challenging Cody Rhodes for the WWE championship at Backlash. I’m not sure what it says that the current top contender to the top title in the company didn’t get picked until the fourth round but there ya go. Andrade will join the blue brand after spending some time on Raw after his return.

Meanwhile, Chad Gable and his crew are sticking around on Monday nights where they will continue going after Sami Zayn and the Intercontinental championship. The big surprise here was the call up of Kiana James, who has been in NXT for over two years now and is finally getting her main roster shot.
