Les Snead closes out Day 2 with a pair of picks, #83 and #99

No one player could fill the hole in the Los Angeles Rams defense caused by the retirement of Aaron Donald, so L.A. is doing it with numbers. Piece by piece, starting with Florida State edge Jared Verse at #19 and then trading up from #52 to #39 and securing defensive tackle Braden Fiske, another Seminole.

Will the run on defensive players continue or is it time for the Rams to take a plunge into the deep wide receiver pool? The Rams have two picks in Round 3, #83 and #99.

Here’s a look at some of the remaining prospects.

Who should the Rams take at #83 and #99?

Teams are still playing the draft close to the vest. Of the 64 players taken, only 10 of those are out of the Top 64 on my draft chart There are many fine players for the Rams to choose from. Cornerback TJ Tampa is still available, so is tackle Kiran Amegadjie, there’s a half-dozen wide receivers, and a grip of running backs of all styles and sizes.

Where do Rams fans stand at #83 and #99?
