The Philadelphia Eagles signed DeVonta Smith to a 3-year contract extension worth $75 million. After seeing these numbers, the Miami Dolphins now have a good blueprint on what to pay Jaylen Waddle, who was drafted in 2021 like Smith. It would be better for the Dolphins to get a deal done with Waddle sooner rather than later, as the Dolphins have already said they envision keeping Waddle around for awhile.
