The Detroit Lions keep torturing this Packers fan during the NFL Draft

For the past 3 years, the Detroit Lions have tortured this Packers fan because of their draft picks.

The Detroit Lions have made NFL Draft week a miserable experience for one particular Green Bay Packers fan in each of the past three years.

By now, you may have heard of Tom Grossi. He’s got a huge YouTube page with nearly 650,000 subscribers. He ran a charity drive last season that raised over $500,000 for St. Jude Hospital. And just a few months ago, Grossi was named the 2023 NFL Fan of the Year at the NFL Honors.

Grossi runs a live stream during every draft, and for each of the past three years, the Lions have driven him to madness. On Thursday night, when the Lions traded up to 24—right in front of the Packers at 25—to select Terrion Arnold—it continued again. Of course, the cameras were rolling during the moment.

At the time, Grossi was hoping the Packers would select one of three players: cornerback Cooper DeJean, offensive lineman Graham Barton, or cornerback Terrion Arnold.

Of course, the Lions picked Arnold, and Grossi went nuts.

“You’ve gotta be… AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH,” Grossi screamed.

If you’re wondering why Grossi was so upset that the Lions did this, it’s because the Lions have taken one of his favorite prospects in each of the last three drafts.

Last year, the Lions traded with the Packers to go up and get Brian Branch. Here’s Grossi’s reaction to that pick:

“We traded with the Lions? We traded with the Lions. I am going to lose my mind. We did. We colluded with ourselves. We are the collusion now. If they get Brian Branch or they get Darnell Washington, I’m going to be furious.”

And in 2022, when the Packers had an extreme need for a wide receiver, Grossi lost his mind when the Lions traded up and grabbed Jameson Williams. Here’s that reaction:

“If they get Jameson Williams, I’m going to lose my mind. I will lose my mind. If they get Jameson Williams, I am going to throw something.”

Of course, the best part of this year’s video is that even though the Lions took one player Grossi wanted, he still had DeJean and Barton as options for the Packers. Green Bay decided to go with… Jordan Morgan instead.
