Skriniar’s Totally Abused Price Revealed

on

Inter Milan have put Milan Skriniar up for sale this month, according to multiple sources in Italian media.

The Gazzetta dello Sportamong others, reports that Inter have made the decision to sell Skriniar before the end of the January transfer window if they receive a €20m transfer fee. Skriniar’s contract expires at San Siro at the end of the season and it’s now well accepted that the defender won’t sign a renewal.

PSG and Roberto Sistici, the 27-year-old’s agent, have publicly confirmed that the French giants are in talks to land him. PSG are the big favourites, but Sistici has also confirmed he is in talks with Premier League clubs, two of which are believed to be Chelsea and Manchester City. After agreeing earlier this month that Skriniar would not sign, Inter initially planned to keep the player until the end of the season and lose him on a free transfer. However, Skriniar’s recent behavior – including a rash sending off in Tuesday’s 1-0 loss to Empoli – led Inter to decide to sell him this month, according to the Gazzetta.

Skriniar will leave Inter

Inter were in talks to sell Skriniar to PSG for much of last summer, but the Ligue 1 club refused to meet the Nerazzurri’s asking price of €70m. he Italians had planned to sell Skriniar for that sum before signing Bremer (Torino) for half the price, in order to make a much-needed profit. However, Juventus hijacked the deal for Bremer at the last minute and so Inter decided to keep their good in the end.

Inter therefore decided to keep their element, which turned out to be a big mistake on the part of Lombard manager, Beppe Marotta, as the team is now weakened by the absence of a top replacement, in addition to only receiving a fraction of PSG’s initial offer last summer. Recall that Inter have been linked with the signing of Nikola Milenkovic from Fiorentina to replace Skriniar.
