Raiders’ first pick could be a worthy lottery ticket
Brock Bowers is surprisingly wearing a Las Vegas Raiders uniform.
He may not be expected, but he’s here and may have a big impact on the Raiders’ offense in 2024.
Bowers is a versatile weapon who can help the Las Vegas offense in many ways and he should instantly be one of the team’s top weapons.
So, it’s no surprise, our friends at DraftKings Sportsbooks have listed him among the leaders to win the 2024 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in their initial odds.
Bowers is listed as 25-1 to win the award this season. It is tied for the 10th lowest (best) odds in the league. In a rookie class that has six quarterback taken in the first round, Bowers is tied for the fifth lowest odds among non-quarterbacks in the class.
Bowers’ over/under on receiving yards is 700.5 yards and his touchdown over/under is 4.5 touchdowns.
It’s of note that a tight end has never won the award since it began in 1962. So, perhaps Bowers will be a pioneer and make you a bunch of money if sports betting is your thing.
