Seth Rollins had knee surgery this week

His wife, Becky Lynch, confirmed as much in a recent interview.

We knew Seth Rollins suffered a knee injury early this year while wrestling on Monday Night Raw, one that initially caused fears he would miss WrestleMania 40. But then he defied the odds and appeared to be working at something close to 100 percent.

I say “appeared” in the most complimentary way possible. He was out there making everyone look like a million bucks (while finishing his own redemption story) despite how injured he actually was. Now, we know he needed surgery and, according to his wife, the great Becky Lynch, we know he’s already gone under the knife:

“So he just got surgery on Tuesday, he had knee surgery. He tore his meniscus a little while before WrestleMania. His rehab, I suppose, is running after a little 3-year-old now. That’ll be great for his knee surgery.”

A surgery like this for an injury like this at a job like this could keep him out for a number of months but if anyone earned the time off, it’s Seth Freakin Rollins.
