It’s 420 day, and that means it was time for Rob Van Dam to return to AEW on Rampage to compete in a “High Flying 420 Elimination 4-Way.” The other three wrestlers in the match were Lee Johnson, Komander, and Isiah Kassidy. You didn’t have to wait the whole F’N show to see Van Dam, because his match opened the card.
Given the name and date of this match, and seeing RVD in there with three low card guys, it was the ideal setup for the ECW legend to get a win. And that’s exactly how it played out.
Johnson was rolled up by Kassidy for the first elimination, and Komander then overcame interference from Marq Quen to eliminate Kassidy. Finally, it was RVD’s turn to score a fall and win the match by going high with a 5 Star Frog Splash on Komander.

RVD 4:20 says I just smoked your ass, so I think Van Dam had this one in the bag the whole time, dude.
What did you think of RVD’s return to AEW on 420 day? Let me know in the comments below, Cagesiders.
