Robert Lewandowski has buried any suspicion of a strained relationship with his former club, Bayern Munich. The Polish striker, who left to arm wrestle with his former management to join Barcelona last summer, showed his support for the Bavarian club this Wednesday, during the Champions League round of 16 second leg contested against PSG (2 -0).

Logically in front of his television to watch the meeting, the 34-year-old striker sent a mark of support to his former partners, in a story posted on his Instagram account. “Auf geht’s Bayern” (Let’s go Bayern), wrote the second top scorer in the history of the Bavarian club, before being thanked by the official account of Bayern Munich. A duel which also had a special meaning for him, since it was the poster for the 2020 Champions League final, the only European title gleaned by the Pole during his career (1-0 victory over Bayern Munich).
