The NFL Draft is underway and the Carolina Panthers are not expected to make any moves in the first round. The draft begins Friday night at 7 PM ET for the Carolinas when the Panthers will begin with the most valuable pick of the day.
A handful of quarterbacks were selected early, but not nearly a record setting number. Where they go later in the first, or where they are available early in the second, could change the Panthers’ entire board. There is no guarantee those changes will be for the positive, but that intrigue is what the team is left with since they traded away what turned out to be the 1st overall pick in this year’s draft last March.
We will update this space with any trades and all picks through the weekend. With any luck we’ll come out the other side with even a modicum of optimism.
