The Denver Broncos have their dates for their rookie minicamp, OTAs, and mandatory minicamp for this offseason.

The NFL has announced offseason workout dates for all clubs this week and for the Denver Broncos we have their schedule for OTAs. The 2024 Broncos draft class and their UDFA signings will be donning the orange and blue for the first time on the practice field next week. With a first-round quarterback, there could be some minor hype coming out of that minicamp.

Rookie Minicamp: May 10-12

OTA Offseason Workouts: May 21-23, May 28-30, June 3-6

Mandatory Minicamp: June 11-13

I feel like I write these offseason workout dates posts several times a year, but it is what it is. We’ve got the 2024 schedule release coming in a few weeks, but after that its going to be history posts and roster reviews for a solid two months. We’ve got to get these minor updates out while we still have something newsworthy to discuss!

As a reminder, the NFL OTA program and mandatory minicamp has several phases to follow. Those are listed out below:

Phase One consists of the first two weeks of the program with activities limited to meetings, strength and conditioning, and physical rehabilitation only.

Phase Two consists of the next three weeks of the program. On-field workouts may include individual or group instruction and drills, as well as “perfect play drills,” and drills and plays with offensive players lining up across from offensive players and defensive players lining up across from defensive players, conducted at a walk-through pace. No live contact or team offense vs. team defense drills are permitted.

Phase Three consists of the next four weeks of the program. Teams may conduct a total of 10 days of organized team practice activity, or “OTAs”. No live contact is permitted, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are permitted.

The mandatory minicamp is limited to the final two weeks of phase three and is required for all veteran players on the roster.
