Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets
Good morning, Gang Green Nation. I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. The New York Jets picked up offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker’s fifth-year option. At some point there were concerns that the team wouldn’t do it due to his injury concerns. Instead, he gets his fifth-year option and an opportunity to potentially land a second contract with the Jets, if he’s able to stay healthy. AVT has had two freak injuries in his career thus far, but the pass that it gives him will only go so far. If he’s unable to stay healthy during the length of his rookie contract, the chances of getting a second contract with the Jets is slim-to-none. With that, here are your links to the Jets to start your morning.
