Good morning, Gang Green Nation. I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Yesterday the New York Jets officially revealed their ‘legacy’ jerseys, which are meant to be a throwback and ode to the Jets’ Sack Exchange that dominated the eighties. With it, the team also revealed multiple secondary logos. As fate would have it, the jerseys were announced on the same day that quarterback Aaron Rodgers returned to One Jets Drive, and elite tight end prospect Brock Bowers also made his way to the facility. Despite my many grievances with owner Woody Johnson, returning to the ‘old’ style of jerseys is a significantly better option than the uniforms they had during the Darnold era. Not to mention, I don’t think many people liked the logo switch that occurred just before Johnson became owner of the team. At any rate, the jerseys look great. Let’s just hope wins come with them.
