MSI Mid Lane Power Rankings

5. Creme

Creme joined TES at the start of the new season following a strong year on OMG where he carried the team to the top part of the league. One of the rising prospects from the LPL, he didn’t mess up as he was for the majority a consistent player with occasional exploits. This will be his first ever international tournament but he will be one to pay attention to as TES has a high ceiling.

4. Caps

The EU mid lane king is back on the international stage. Following a somewhat disappointing 2023 year where Caps didn’t look as dominant, he showed he’s still got what it takes to be at the top of the LEC. He led G2 during the Spring Split and was one of the main reasons why the team had so much success in the first part of the year.

3. Faker

You might be surprised to see Faker in third place but before raising your forks, hear me out. I don’t think that he’s going to be the third-best mid-lane player during the tournament but he and the rest of T1 did suffer during the LCK Spring Finals. It might be due to hindered practice or something else, but you should expect Faker to improve over the course of the tournament. His ceiling has always been there, and the Demon King is here to retrieve a title he has been chasing for years.

2. Knight

Knight left JDG to join BLG in the full Chinese lineup. Despite the roster change, he led the team to a dominant spring split in the LPL Thanks to his carry potential and incredible individual skills. Nothing has changed and he’s still the number one mid lane from the Chinese league. We’ll have to see whether he has what it takes to take down the Korean players.

1. Chovy

If during the past years, Chovy was considered a dominant force, then this year he has gone way above that. He is unquestionably the strongest mid lane on paper, and unless he or Gen.G randomly choke out, then this is probably his strongest year ever since he joined the Korean organization. It’s too early to say he can win it all, but if Spring performance means something, then Chovy is the no. 1 guy to beat.
