Las Vegas Raiders NFL Draft results 2024: Dylan Laube taken in sixth round

The biggest event of the NFL offseason is finally underway with the NFL Draft kicking off on Thursday. Below is a recap of the Las Vegas Raiders picks so far and updates will come as the picks are announced.

The second round will begin tonight at 4:00 p.m. PST and will air on ESPN and NFL Network. Day 3 or rounds four through seven will be on Saturday, starting at 9:00 a.m. PST, and will also air on ESPN and NFL Network.

Raiders 2024 NFL Draft Picks:

• Round 1, Pick 13: TE Brock Bowers, Georgia

In what was the most surprising pick of the first round, the Raiders went with a ‘best player available’ approach on Thursday night. They get another weapon in the passing game and will have a great tight end duo in Luke Getsy’s offense with Michael Mayer and Bowers.

• Round 2, Pick 44: C Jackson Powers-Johnson

While Powers-Johnson lined up at center this past season at Oregon, he took snaps at right guard during the 2022 campaign. That’s likely where he’ll contribute to begin his tenure with the Raiders, but he could eventually take over for Andre James down the line. Las Vegas gets the starting interior lineman they were looking for in the second round.

• Round 3, Pick 77: OL Delmar Glaze, Maryland

The Raiders get a right tackle option. Glaze will likely compete with Thayer Munford Jr. for reps during training camp with the veteran serving as the immediate starter. But Las Vegas at least brings in some competition and someone who can potentially play inside if needed in the Maryland product.

• Round 4, Pick 112: CB Decamerion Richardson, Mississippi State

The Raiders needed some help at cornerback and made Richardson the first defensive player they’ve taken in the 2024 draft. He’s considered more of a project but will help fill out the depth chart at least in year one.

• Round 5, Pick 148: LB Tommy Eichenberg, Ohio State

With starters Robert Spillane and Divine Deablo entering contract years, the Raiders add a physical run defender at linebacker in Eichenberg who will add depth this year and compete for a starting job if either of the two veterans walk in free agency. He’s a tough dude who fits Pierce’s mentality.
