In this weekly series, we identify three Superstars (or groups of Superstars) who are on their way up, and three that are moving in the opposite direction. After a busy week that included CM Punk and Drew McIntyre going at it on the mic, a tease for the return of Pete Dunne, and Cody Rhodes finishing his story with Shinsuke Nakamura, a lot of fortunes were changed.
With that in mind, let’s see whose stock decreased the most this week:
Stock Down #3: Otis
Bronson Reed, Ivar, and Otis are some of the meatiest dudes who like to slap meat on Raw, but Otis will need to raise his game if he wants to meat at their level. His loss to Ivar this week seems to be a setup for Ivar to have another match with Akira Tozawa, which suggests Otis is also at the bottom of the rankings of Alpha Academy right now.
Stock Down #2: Piper Niven & Chelsea Green
Niven and Green lost their rematch for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. It looks like they will fall to the back of the line, with other teams like Kabuki Warrior and Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn now ready for their shot at the gold.
Stock Down #1: Cameron Grimes
Grimes last wrestled on SmackDown television in mid-November, which is why it was initially a surprise to see his match with Grayson Waller placed in the coveted opening segment of last night’s show. It turns out that Grimes was only there to be a sacrificial lamb for The Bloodline. Solo Sikoa and Jim Uso slaughtered Grimes during his entrance, reinforcing the idea that Cameron is a jabroni whose main purpose on the show is to get beat up by everyone else.

Stock Up #3: DIY
Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano said their new year’s resolution is to win the undipsuted WWE tag team championship this year. They got off to a good start on making that goal a reality when Ciampa defeated Finn Balor in a singles match on Raw.
Stock Up #2: R-Truth
Truth did it again on Raw this week, stealing the show with a “Live, Laugh, Love” video documenting his unbreakable bond with The Judgment Day. It sounds like his new related merchandise is selling at the top of the chart for WWE, which is a good indication that there is plenty more to come in this story.
Stock Up #1: Jinder Mahal
Oftentimes when a part-timer like The Rock comes back to humiliate a low or mid-card heel, it doesn’t lead to better times for said heel. In the case of Jinder Mahal, his segment with The Rock at Day 1 is now leading to a world championship match against Seth Rollins on the Jan. 15 episode of Raw.
Former WWE Champion Mahal is a jobber who hasn’t won a televised main roster match since 2022, so it’s doubtful that he has much of a chance to actually beat Rollins for the gold. However, Jinder is now the talk of the town thanks to Tony Khan’s madness on social media, so there’s a chance he can use this exposure to remain relevant on WWE TV going forward.
