Good news for the Eagles, who faced a scare when Hurts’ finger was dislocated during the Giants game on Sunday.

Another bit of good news for the Eagles on Monday after an injury scare to QB Jalen Hurts’ middle finger on Sunday, reports say testing showed no fracture despite “popping out” early in the second quarter.

The QB was able to return to the game after getting tended to in the medical tent, but only played another drive before being rested the remainder of the evening. Hurts talked to reporters after the loss to the Giants and said it was “okay” trying to throw with his finger taped up, but noted it would be day-to-day as he went through the week.

The fact that there’s no fracture to his throwing hand heading into the playoffs is a big relief, and something they should be able to tape up and monitor as the Eagles start preparing for the Bucs.

The wild card game is slated for Monday night which also gives Hurts — and others — an extra day to heal up.
